Rath R100 Tenor Trombone Bb

The Rath R100 is a small bore Bb tenor trombone from Rath's R00 series - designed to bridge the gap between student instruments and Rath's fully custom, hand-crafted trombones. It is the ideal step up for players moving to their first professional-level instrument, bringing genuine Rath design and build quality from the UK's leading trombone maker, Michael Rath.

The yellow brass bell offers a wide palette of tonal colours, while the .500" small bore gives a clear, agile sound that suits jazz, big band and brass band playing. The R100 is fitted with a standard leadpipe similar to the one used on the R10, and because the leadpipe is interchangeable, players can fine-tune the feel and response with optional Rath custom leadpipes as their playing develops.

A nickel silver hand slide provides a smooth, durable action, and the R100 comes complete with a Rath case and a Rath S11MN Mark Nightingale signature mouthpiece.
